This workshop will help you to conceptualize, strategize, write, rewrite, troubleshoot and complete your book-length work. Whether you are writing a novel or a memoir, a collection of linked stories or essays, or an experimental hybrid, this workshop will encourage focus, goal setting and accountability, and provide constructive feedback to help you achieve your vision of the work. Each class will include time for discussion of your writing process, in-class writing time, and feedback on selections of participants’ work. The group will be limited to ten participants.

Terry Wolverton is more experienced than any writing teacher I have ever had. She responds to your work and questions brilliantly and with great care. She is focused and present and seems as invested as you are in your writing (where else can you get that?). She certainly has the skills and knowledge to go with you to the most advanced places as a writer and she is familiar with all kinds of writing and styles too. What more could you ask for?
